Photos: World Long Drive Setup, Las Vegas Speedway
/The setup for tonight's Remax World Long Drive Championship (9 pm ET Golf Channel) poses some issues for the players compared to normal long drive stages. The players are about 50 feet above the race track and the landing grid sits at a slight angle. It's also about 50 yards wide, a bit narrower than they are used to.
Visually, the stage and imposing setting, combined with the night lights and all the bells and whistles (Trackman, ProTracer), should make for great viewing. But don't be surprised if you see a few more balls than normal not, uh, hitting the fairway.
